Ongaro’s present focus is centred on drawing as a meditative practice. Referencing mythological symbols, current abstract works invoke a re-emergence of ancient narratives within a contemporary context, drawing parallels between ‘The Golden Age’ and contemporary visions of ‘The New Earth’.
