Marga Duin
In 2010, I received an invitation from the Big Expo Organization Committee, China, to create a painting in my own style about a bronze utensil related to the Dian Cultural Heritage. The subject was a bronze ceremonial table, 43cm high, 76cm long, and includes the figures of a bull and tiger. It shows the bull as the main sacred animal of this culture and an attacking tiger. The sculpture is 2300 years old and is the topic of the Yunnan Provincial Museum, China.
I made three different paintings of this object. This one is the third and the last one.
