Artist Statement: 

In my current work, I am experimenting with color by throwing or mixing the paint right on the canvas and then using centrifugal force plus the force of gravity to distort the line and form of known objects. I achieve this distortion and depth by layering either translucent  or opaque paint colors in set or random patterns. I am determined to push past the limitations of the process by using different  materials such as inks, paper and plastics. The aim of this innovation, and of the approach more generally, is to achieve an emotional response of wonder from the viewer.
