Artist Statement:

A Lot More; inspired by stone figures raging up from the sea outside the Færoe Islands, like frozen giants from the past. Like the wife of Lot in the Old Testament mythology we yarn to hold on to our way of life. Even with broken fingers we cannot let go, pursuing a headless want for more even though we know it can’t last. Maybe we also will end up frozen into dead stone? A confused soul is a helpless witness, wandering scared and lost. Perhaps not being able to see what is holding and what is held.
