Public/Private brings together a large group of international artists who utilize the gallery space as a forum to explore the dichotomy between public and private forms of representation. In this multidisciplinary show, documentation and archive are explored through a variety of sources, from landscape and body, to sexuality and gender. The timeless subject of exposure and privacy is characterized in Public/Private by explorations into ancient visual traditions and taboos, along with the artists’ goal of creating a public representation of themselves.
