The Broadway Gallery NYC is proud to announce Journey to the Centre: Bioprocess.
A Group Show Curated by Guðrún Vera Hjartardóttir
The exhibition will take place from October 1 to15, with an opening reception on October 2, 6 to 8pm.
Featuring the work of artists JBK Ransu, Helga Arnalds, Anna Halldórsdóttir, Elsa Dóra GÃsladóttir, and Guðrún Vera Hjartardóttir, the exhibition is seen as a site for the organic growth of the selected artist work. Coming together to form a whole unit, each indivdual artist is influenced by the presence of one another and their time spent together.
In Journey to the Centre: Bioprocess, the five Icelandic artists began a dialogue that became the work for the exhibition, a journey that is itself a destination. Similar to tarot cards, selected intuitively, one after another, without strategy—yet open to the possibility of readings and dialogues, the artists are each individuals that fall into place, as a vital part of this experience as a whole.
